Media Manager (Buyer)
We are seeking a super organized media buyer/planner/ account manager to handle the day to day activities of a few small-midsized beauty accounts. The ideal candidate has a verifiable track record of developing your own efficient system in order to seamlessly keep things on track, ensure you are on top of the different deadlines that are involved in a successful, integrated media plan. Candidate can work from home 2-3 days a week after first 6 weeks or once we are all on the same working page.
Day to Day…
product placement, sampling, party sponsorships, social, OOH and digital, Sunday coupons, General, Beauty magazine buying, promotional events and sponsorships, Canadian media and Mexico as well.
What You’ll Be Doing…
-You can successfully seek out, weigh and leverage brand initiatives with current or potential media partners as well as leverage our current relationships and incorporating this and other programs into the media plan mix.
-This person has excellent project management skills, and will bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a take charge instinct to their work with a calm management style which our clients prefer.
-They will have experience in media and can talk intelligently about media options. (and we will teach you our way, of course)
-You will learn how to stretch the budget beyond well beyond the norm.
What We’re Looking For…
-4+ years of agency experience in media and or account supervision.
-Beauty and packaged good experience a plus.
-Client side brand management is also a plus. Must have working knowledge print buying and insertion order.
- Must be proficient on MAC- Office - Excel and PowerPoint.
-Successful in managing deadlines and client needs on multiple short- and long-term plans simultaneously. Experienced in engaging with mid- to senior-level clients ·and vendors.
-Serve as account manager and point of contact for clients,
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients via email. conf calls with owner,
-Ability to communicate concise and timely answers , create and deliver presentations, information in a timely manner.
-Identify and develop client growth opportunities
- Provide ongoing communications and feedback to President of the company.
-Entertain clients with Lunches, dinners, meet with our vendors over lunch
